We
are so excited about all the Inns improvements in the last couple of
years that we cannot wait to show them off so we are going to open
earlier than ever for 2013 when we open on May 10th for the 2013 season.
Ocean Point Inn Continental Breakfast
Continental Breakfast for 2013 will be served daily starting May 25.
Breakfast hours will continue to be from 7:30AM until 10:00AM, with
early morning coffee available beginning at 6:30AM.
Improvements
at The Point in the past couple of years include
Flat Screen Televisions now in all rooms
New Duvelet Bed Covers in all 61 units
Fresh paint in all rooms
All rooms have at least slight upgrades to furniture, some have received major upgrades as indicated below
New Carpet in one fourth of the property in the past few years
New re-configured Pool Fence allowing those that sit at the pool to
enjoy an ocean view
Computer Station with printer for guest use in Registration area (great
for printing Boarding Passes)
New carpet and lighting in the registration area
The Seaward Cottage was completely
redone in 2012 with granite counter in the kitchen, new flooring, new
sofa, new chairs, new beds including a queen four poster bed, new
dressers and new mirrors.
Sea Winds Building Second Level: The three upstairs rooms
were
transformed and now have one King Bed
with a Sleeper Sofa, and chairs from which
to watch the sunset. All
new furniture, all new drapes, all new furnishings on the beds and a full
length mirror in the room.
Sea Winds Building Level One: Now have two queen beds, all new drapes, new upgraded
furniture, fresh paint and new bedding.
Hatchard House - Rooms: HH1, HH2, HH4, HHB
These four rooms were completely redone including new upholstered
headboards in each room (all are King rooms), new drapes, new shades,
new lamps and new carpet in the past two years.
Hatchard House Room - HHC
in the past couple of years has received new drapes, a new couch and a new
bathroom, new carpet plus of course the upgraded bedding all rooms are received.
West Wind Building: Had all the old
wallpaper removed and all of the walls and trim were painted. These rooms
received new dressers, lamps, drapes and bedding. The two upstairs
rooms here now have a King Bed and the two downstairs rooms have two Queen
beds each.
Oceanfront Inn Room 9 Upgrade: King room with
views across the bay and down the ocean has new bedside tables,
dresser, and chairs.
The Lodge Suites, have new couches, which can be converted
into Queen beds, plus coffee makers.
Rates for 2013
Even with all these enhancements and improvements in recent years, you will find most of
our 2013 rates still very similar and very affordable. Our goal is to continue to
offer you an affordable retreat, and the best value possible at Ocean
Point. For those of you who love our inclusive packages, you will notice
we greatly simplified these in the past couple of years. Take a look at our
